About CARRIERS:
Carriers — the project helmed by Cincinnati, Ohio’s Curt Kiser — announces Every Time I Feel Afraid, their debut album for Brassland (This Is The Kit, Bartees Strange) due out May 2. It’s a project that reckons with the realities and hardships of a life spent running down a dream; a cosmic swirl of heartland hallucinations, motorik Americana, and plainspoken poeticism in the vein of Tom Petty or Amen Dunes; the sound of a dreamer faced with a put-up or shut-up moment, and delivering.
Carriers also have shared “Blurry Eyes,” a new single that follows last month's “Sometimes.”Featuring contributions from Bryan Devendorf (The National), Dave Hartley (The War On Drugs)and Ben Lanz (Beirut, The National, Sufjan Stevens), it's a song about mustering the belief to overcome doubt, hesitation, and uncertainty. Kiser's gentle, Neil Young-adjacent vocal is cast against swelling brass and a gorgeous landscape of bleeding sonic colors.
Kiser found break-out success with Carriers’ debut LP Now Is The Time For Loving Me, Yourself & Everyone Else, winning album of the year at the Cincinnati Entertainment Awards and drawing praise from Paste Magazine, Consequence of Sound, Talkhouse and more.
Carriers are already fairly well-known among fellow indie artists. Listed under Sharon Van Etten’s “Recommended listening” liner notes of her LP Remind Me Tomorrow, they have shared the stage with the likes of Big Thief, Band Of Horses, The National, Fruit Bats, Sam Evian, Widowspeak, Heartless Bastards, Twen, Michael Nau, Why?, Choir Boy, Katy Kirby, Damien Jurado and more!

About DYAN:
DYAN is Alexis Marsh. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and having lived in Toronto, Los Angeles, and now Cincinnati, Marsh started writing songs while working on film scores and television projects. In 2016, she released her first album, Looking For Knives, as a trio with guitarist, Sam Jones & drummer, Dan Dorff Jr. A follow up LP, Absence, was released in 2018, but the delay in writing songs for the next full-length album slowed momentum and the trio disbanded, making DYAN Marsh's solo project. Between 2021 - 2024, she learned to mix and play the guitar parts, writing her own for Midwest, which was released in 2025. Her songs have been placed in over thirty productions on television shows like Lucifer, Jessica Jones, Truth Be Told, Virgin River, and films like Xavier Dolan's Mattias et Maxime and the Evan Rachel Wood documentary, Phoenix Rising.
